Heimo Schulzer

Heimo qualified in Germany as a Landscape Architect and Landscape Engineer and has been involved in landscaping for more than 26 years. Following his apprenticeship, Heimo joined a dynamic team of constructors who specialized in the installation of contemporary sculpture and domestic gardens in Munich. Leaving Germany in 1998, Heimo fell in love with Cape Town while working at Kirstenbosch Gardens. Heimo particularly enjoys the challenge of hard landscaping details and is dedicated to bringing fine workmanship to the designer’s vision.

Antonia Schulzer

Antonia studied horticulture with a focus on marketing in Germany. After arriving in South Africa, she set up a small nursery for a short time and then decided to study aromatherapy. After bringing up our 2 children, she started to run our Montagu guest house and is currently also working as a nursery teacher. She is now adding the role of Marketing and Public Relations Manager in the HSG team to her portfolio, thus returning to her roots.
